Opening Day on the Bay is an annual celebration of the maritime community on San Francisco Bay, dating back to 1917.  It marks the official start of the boating season and is organized by the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association (PICYA). The event showcases over 100 historic workboats, fireboats, towboats, and classic and contemporary vessels. This year’s theme is “Myths and Legends”.
