Professional ASA Instructor Qualification Clinics
AFTERGUARD runs ASA-IQCclinics to become a PROFESSIONAL Sailor.
Afterguard runs 3 ASA Instructor Qualification Clinics on site each year plus Capt. Mary travels to other schools to conduct on-site clinics. To enroll a candiate has to be approved by and pay American Sailing Association. Under Instructor Clinics, look on the schedule for clinics in Oakland. www.asa.com After enrolling, and being accepted by ASA, contact Captain Mary for actual time for your clinic’s schedule and IQC instructor presentation directions. General Course Schedules:
Most courses only require 2 students to enroll to get on the schedule. Couples can take courses together at our school, we encourage it. We offer discounts to groups of friends, co-workers and families.

STANDARD SCHEDULE for WEEKENDS
1st weekend of every month ASA-101 is offered, 1st and 3rd wknd May-Sept.
2nd & 3rd weekends of every month ASA-103 is offered, always follows 101.
4th weekend ASA-104 is offered - Fly/sail to Alaska in Aug or Mex. in Jan.
5th weekend months (May Aug and Oct in 2009) ASA-106 is offered.
Coastal Navigation is offered Feb, May, August & Nov.
‘Navigation - the Rest of it’ is offered - March, June, Sept & Dec.
All courses are available. Enrollments can add a course to the schedule.
